Oil Spill Does NOT Help Magellanic Penguin Population

Picture
This Magellanic Penguin does not smile for the camera in this picture. It's covered in oil spills! Oil spills are very common off the coast of Argentina in South America, where Magellanic Penguins are native. Oil fouls their feathers, poisons them while damaging their internal organs, all because penguins ingest the oil.

Help the penguins!

You can help! Just by recycling!

Reuse your empty waterbottles. Don't throw away paper scraps, use them again. But if you are going to recycle plastic, e.g. plastic cups, look on the bottom first. If it has a recycling sign with a number 1 or 2, you can recycle it. But if it has any thing else that means it could be toxic to the ocean and to the penguins. So always check!

A trashed ocean line

Shame, shame, shame to who ever did this.:( Yea, yea, yea to who ever cleaned it up!:)
